Our Leadership Team

Craig O’Rourke, President

Mr. O’Rourke has over 30 years of executive leadership experience in federal government contracting and construction and environmental program management.  Mr. O’Rourke was responsible for growing the Ahtna Federal Holdings team and for increasing annual revenues from a few million per year to over $150M recently. Under his direction and leadership, the company has been awarded over $16B in IDIQ contract capacity and has executed over $400M in projects and task orders. Mr. O’Rourke’s experience includes responsibility for developing new business, managing operations, and overseeing contracts for various government and commercial entities. Mr. O’Rourke is also well-versed in SBA’s 8(a) and mentor protégé certification program, and he has originated and serves as chairman of the board of control for 10 Ahtna joint ventures with large A/E/C companies.

David Frenzel, VP of Operations

Mr. Frenzel has more than 40 years of experience in managing new construction, remodeling, electrical, demolition, environmental clean-up and civil projects. He has managed projects and performed worked as the Project Manager throughout Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and the western United States, with numerous sites located in extremely remote and isolated locations. In these areas, Mr. Frenzel oversaw all aspects of job progress and was responsible for ensuring timely scheduling and delivery of all site necessities as travel to many of these locations was extensive and difficult.

Ashley Gaskell, Director of Operations, SWPPP

Ms. Gaskell is an environmental professional committed to excellence and has worked in various aspects of water resources for over ten years. Her experience includes Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development, inspections, and reporting to governmental agencies on multiple utility construction projects in California.
